Women’s Wine & Dine® FAQ’s
What about Drinking and Driving?
At the WW&D® we feel moderation is the key to a lifetime of enjoyment with wine. We encourage responsible habits and welcome “Designated Drivers”. We offer an optional “designated” driver ticket price to all our events. We value your safety more than profit and we want you comfortable. Besides, you can always purchase the wines we explore at your leisure and drink them in the comfort of your own home. This doesn’t mean you can’t learn about them, or enjoy the other aspects of the event such as connecting with other women, expert guest speakers, fun and great food.
Are events monthly in all locations?
Actually, we hold events monthly in Baltimore City and Timonium. We rotate the other venues including Annapolis, Bel Air and Columbia.
Is membership required?
No, but it’s encouraged. We have an extensive list of affiliated merchants that offer special discounts, services and preferential treatments to our WW&D ladies. Events are also often discounted for members.
Can I come alone?
Of course. The WW&D is a friendly, fun and unassuming atmosphere to meet other women, learn about wine and other interesting subjects. Many people come alone, but many people bring family, friends, colleagues or clients. (It’s hard to keep a good thing all to yourself).
What if I can’t make an event, can I get a refund?
We have an across the board no refund policy, however if you advise us of an inability to attend an event within 48 hours we will issue you a credit valid for 3 months. If you advise us less than 48 hours, you will not be eligible for a credit. Contact us by email or call: 410-585-9902 in the event you cannot attend.
What if I have certain allergies or dietary restrictions?
Because we work with great venues, generally all the restaurants are happy to accommodate our guests. Please advise at the time of your reservation (in the comments section) what your concerns are and we will do our best to accommodate you.
